Ruggadized Modular Gigabit Ethernet Switch

SWM-HE-M is a modular ruggadized aggregation and distribution Ethernet switch with up to 24 Fast Ethernet ports and 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports with various options of RJ45 and optical interfaces. It is made of a modular chassis hosting one Gigabit Ethernet card and three Fast Ethernet modules.

It is qualified for the Utility electric substation environment and ground railway infrastructures with compliance to the IEC-61850-3, IEEE-1613 and EN-50121-4 standards. It supports wide operating temperature range between -40 and +75 °C, severe electromagnetic immunity, chock and vibration resistance. The SWM-IE-M model supports a -10 to +60 °C operating temperature range.

Its size, mains and DC power supply options, ruggadized design and its rich feature set, make it a polyvalent switch to serve the most difficult industry requirements.

SWM-HE-M embeds a full set of protocols to implement an Ethernet network and manage application and user traffics. Critical trunks may be redundant with STP/RSTP/MSTP, and access security is based on authentication and packet filtering. Traffics are isolated into 802.1Q VLAN's. IGMP-Snooping enables video streaming applications. 

SWM-HE-M is controlled through a CLI or a user friendly web interface. 

It is a 19''/1U chassis with either 110/230 Vac mains or a 48 Vdc power input with single or dual redundant power supply options.

SWM-HE-M is a fanless ruggadized design. It brings reliability and performance to the mission critical networks of the Utility substation and railway infrastructures.
